Helium¹ machine

Helium¹ virtual machines provide balanced performances for general purpose needs at optimized cost.

Each virtual machine has a dedicated slice of the underlaying hardware resources (there is no over-provisioning), thus allowing to maintain a steady and reliable level of performances.

The virtualisation is based on the Linux kernel, the Qemu machine emulator running on Dell servers with:

  • Intel Xeon L5640 at 2.2GHz (turbo at 2.8GHz)
  • DDR3 ECC memory at 1333 MHz

To provide better availability of your services, each hypervisor has redundant local disk, network cards, switch uplink and power supply.
